MarshallWard POSITION: Co-op Coordinator REPORTING TO: Co-op Manager LOCATION: Home Office, Toronto IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Conducting analysis and follow up as necessary to ensure that we have compliance from both store and vendor. Helping oversee co-op placement at stores - generate necessary co-operative advertising forms, co-operative advertising contracts and invoices, follow-up on these with Finance and vendors to ensure timely collection of all co-op placement dollars. Assisting in managing vendors to ensure that products, for placement and promotional plannograms, arrive in stores in a timely manner. Working with the Co-op Manager to analyze promotions and productivity analysis on an ongoing basis. Tracking vendor coop contribution and devising plan to ensure each vendor is participating. Report any commitment problems to management. Assisting the Co-op Manager with assorted duties of co-ordination and administration. Inputing all monthly co-op placement dollars into the co-op tool and maintain these files in order to produce various queries and reports. Maintain co-op invoice log. Maintaining and formating monthly plannograms for all store formats. Prepare these documents to go to stores accompanied by the Documents for the Receivers. Communicating with vendor to acquire all creative and point of purchase material (movie tie-in/new releases). Maintaining accurate filing system of all contracts, invoices and planograms. Data entry, photocopying, faxing duties as required. Projects as assigned. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: Well experienced in Microsoft Access and Excel applications, Extensive analytical abilities, Must work well in a team environment, Must be detail focused and action oriented, Must work well under pressure, and to deadlines, Related post-secondary degree would be an asset. Good knowledge of a retail environment. Service driven, customer focused, Energy - High degree of self-motivation and energy, Energize - ability to motivate and excite employees, Execute - focus on full execution of responsibilities, Passion - love of and excitement about role in company, Belief in accountability and ownership, Belief in the value of communication, including active listening, True belief in teamwork and the ability to understand the impact of one's actions on another team, individual or process, An optimist who supports what is right and helps to fix what is wrong, Understands that one's actions is a role model for all others in the organization, Desire to continuously learn and improve what and how we do, "Hands-on" approach.
